Mike Wolivar helps attorneys identify and retain the investigative and protective specialists best suited to the particular needs of a case. When requested, he remains available to coordinate with counsel and the specialist, help keep the work focused on the objectives of the case, and assist in avoiding unnecessary expense.

His role is not to replace the investigator or protective specialist. Rather, it is to help counsel make an informed decision when selecting the right professional and to remain available as an experienced resource throughout the engagement.

Most attorneys retain investigators only occasionally and understandably have limited opportunity to become familiar with the many specialties within the investigative profession. The investigator best suited for due diligence may not be the right choice for complex surveillance, international assignments, digital forensics, witness development, asset investigations, social media intelligence, executive protection, or litigation support.

For more than 30 years, Mike has worked in the private investigative and protective services professions, personally conducting complex assignments, managing investigative operations, and working alongside highly accomplished specialists throughout Southern California and across the United States. That field experience has provided practical insight into the capabilities, judgment, and reliability that distinguish exceptional professionals from those whose credentials may appear impressive but whose private-sector experience is more limited.

Over the course of his career, Mike has developed relationships with highly regarded investigative, intelligence, forensic, and protective specialists whose abilities have been demonstrated through years of successful private-sector performance. Many of these professionals are not widely known and rely primarily on referrals and longstanding professional relationships.

The objective is straightforward: to help attorneys select and retain the investigative and protective specialists best suited to each matter, reduce unnecessary risk and expense, and better serve the interests of their clients.
